Sounds to me like you all need a history lesson. The world today is full of liberal trash that seem to think that everyone should be kissing everyone else's [censored]. This is not how the human race works. There is nothing wrong with a person being proud of their race and its accomplishments. All of us are entitled to have whatever opinion we want. You have stated yours, I have stated mine, and if you dont like it I really dont care. Maybe one day the true history of slavery in the south will become known again instead of this liberal yankee myth of history.

Most estimates place the CURRENT number of people held in slavery at at least 27 million! The most at any one time in world history.
Every race on earth has been enslaved by every other race on earth at one time or another. Get over it, try to change what you can and go on.

Not sure what you mean by "true" history. History is never completely "true". It is always influenced by the prejudices of those in a position to control how it is written, taught and told.
The fact that a good % of African slave were sold by their own people, even their own family? Still doesn't make it right.
Here is a little known fact. Many if not most slave families in Va. had possession of at least one gun! It was far cheaper to make them hunt for a portion of their food than it was to supply it.

Since my oldest son is half black I've had a unique opportunity to see a small slice of racism. For the most part it's isn't worth anyone concerning themselves with. Just do your own thing and don't worry about others.
